Rock the Block
5:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: Main Street Jamestown, in front of Unison Bank
“AAUW Jamestown will be hosting a booth at the University of Jamestown “Rock The Block” party on Main Street, Jamestown. Members will be educating that everyone should exercise their right to vote. Information on how to vote and It’s My Vote stickers and voters will be encouraged to become “Informed” voters.

Edgewood Senior Living Center & Shape the Future
5:00 – 8:30 pm
Location: Edgewood Senior Living Center, 1104 25 St. SW, Jamestown, ND
Bring a guest to this meeting. All new members signing up at the meeting receive half off of their national dues. Enjoy a light supper beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by honoring longtime members Helen Hample and Hazell DeGroot. Learn about AAUW and the history of AAUW Jamestown and tour the new facility.

Tour of Raugust Library and Program on Measure One – Anti-Corruption Measure on November Ballot
6:00 PM – Badal Nyfus Dining Hall, University of Jamestown
7:00 PM – Lyngstad Room 207 – University of Jamestown
Members and guests who wish to dine will meet at 6:00 PM at Badal Nafus Student Center Dining Hall. DInner is available for $11.75 per person. Following dinner we will go to Raugust Library to tour the newly remodeled building. At 7:00 p.m. we will meet at Lyngstad room 207, University of Jamestown. Lyngstad is attached by a hallway on the main level to the Nafus where we eat. There is an elevator by the main entrance of Lyngstad if needed and parking in front of Lyngstad and behind Nafus and you will not need a parking pass. Members and guests will learn more about Measure One – ND Anti-corruption Amendment from Ellen Chaffee, Co-Chair of the North Dakotans for Public Integrity.

Crucial Conversations – Brunch Meeting
Location: Legacy Center, Jamestown
Members will enjoy a brunch lunch and then participate in “Crucial Conversations,” as presented by Liz Hunt, University of Jamestown. A crucial conversation is a discussion between two or more people where stakes are high, opinions vary, and emotions run strong. When we face crucial conversations, we can do one of three things: We can avoid them, we can face them and handle them poorly, or we can face them and handle them well. Tech Savvy – Jamestown

On Thursday, March 7, all members are encouraged to attend and volunteer at the 2019 TechSavvy Event that will be held on the University of Jamestown campus. Location: Jamestown Regional Medical Center Conference Room (watch for signs)
Members will enjoy hearing information on the new Cancer Center from Lisa Jackson, Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation Director at 7:00 PM. Members who want can meet at 5:45 PM at the Hospital Apple Café for supper (on your own) followed by Lisa giving a tour of the hospital facilities at 6:30 pm.
